As much as CJ has struggled scoring, he has a career high in assists while maintaining his elite sub 10% TOV percentage. Unlike Graham, he really does still have gravity so it make life less difficult for guys like Zion and BI. Where I'll say maybe we should consider, is the idea that CJ should finish games no matter what. There have been several games where we obviously would have been better finishing with CJ off the court, and Willie will have to confront that eventually.

Agreed. You don't bench a 3:1 ast/tov guard who can still have gravity for your two guys. Now the question of not taking so many contested shots we all agree he needs to stop.

However, I get the premise of him finishing games (ball handler, solid defense, vet leader). But, like we have benched zion for bad defense, sometimes Cj is hurting us more than helping offensively.

The issue is who do you replace him with and we don't have a jordan Clarkson type guy

Not trying to shite on CJ, but his TO ratio would be much higher if you consider the amount of blocks he endures every game. He definitely does seem to be passing the ball very well. I'm not worried about his shot. I think as long as he reigns in forcing the difficult shots and keeps this offense pass heavy for good looks, we will thrive. We will always have guys on the court that can hit shots. Just keep getting the good looks.
