Your most memorable LSU/Alabama games?

You can see the complete history of the series at TigerDroppings.com's LSU Football History page:
LINK
LSU has won the last five meetings, and seven of the last eight matchups. Over the last twenty meetings, the series is tied 10-10.
Bama is beating LSU badly overall, 43-23-5.
LSU/Bama games that jump out at me, in no particular order:
LSU wins:
- In 1982, beating them 20-10 at Legion Field. I believe we held Bama to no first downs in the 1st half. We ended Bama's 11-game winning streak in the series.
- In 1993, beating them 17-13 in Tuscaloosa when no one gave us a chance. They had a long unbeaten streak going into the game and our season was in the tank. Hallman, Chad Loup and Ivory Hilliard pulled it out of their arse for the big upset.
- The 2001 season...Rohan Davey to Josh Reed...early and often. We beat them 35-21 in Tuscaloosa. Reed broke the SEC record for most receiving yards in a game with 293.
- In 2005, JaMarcus Rusell hits Dwayne Bowe for the winner in overtime...LSU wins 16-13 in Tuscaloosa. I believe Bama had only one loss or was undefeated at the time.
- In 2007, Saban faces LSU for the first time since he left. Tigers come back with dramatic 41-34 victory in Tuscaloosa. Flynn to Doucet tied the game up before Chad Jones' sack of John Parker Wilson led to a fumble and subsequent Hester TD run for the winning margin.
Losses:
- In 1999, Josh Booty tries to run in for the TD in the waning seconds but is stopped short. Tide wins 23-17 in Tuscaloosa.
- In 1996, with the SEC West on the line, LSU laid a huge egg. ESPN Gameday was on campus, and LSU entered the game with just one loss. Shaun Alexander rushed for a school-record 291 yards and four touchdowns that night.
Ties:
In 1985, LSU misses FG at end of game to win it. Game ended 14-14 in Baton Rouge. Was it Ronnie Lewis that missed it? I just remember it being on the left hashmark, and watching on TV as the Bama fans in the South end zone went crazy when he missed it.

Under losses - '02 31-0 Bama. Worst feeling I've ever had and it was COLD! Tigers never showed up.

LSU/Bama 2000 ... 1st time we beat Bama at home in 30 years ...
Let me add Bama/LSU 2005 in Ttown ... we were there & it was SWEET to beat them in their stadium when they were previously unbeaten ... it was my first road trip other than a bowl game ...
Let me also add that 2002 in BR was freaking cold and we laid a big old egg ... that really sucked.

You have to throw in the 2002 debacle. I made my date stay in the cold with me til the bitter end.
ETA: I think our biggest offensive play that game was a fake punt when Bradie James ran for 20 yards.

Chicken, you forgot 1986. I was on TV lots of times and one of the shots ended up being part of and ESPN commercial the next fall.

1969. Was in graduate school then. Really cold Saturday night in TS. LSU having a decent year, coming into the game 6-1 having lost to Archie the week before. Not one of BAMA's greatest teams, but still well coached and came into the game 5-2.
Cholly Mac's first win over the Bear.

They were. If you watched that game it should have never gone into overtime. There was a blatant hold in the endzone while Brody was back there about to throw the ball. The flag should have been thrown and it would have given LSU two points for a safety.

1984 in B'ham. drank all my Jager on the way. switched to Scotch and mountain dew. (they didn't sell water at the stadium.) we won. all other details of the trip have been supplied by others.
edited to correct the year to 84 based on flashback and vehicle type used to transport.

The 86 game was a great one. We were coming off a loss to Old Mrs. I went with friends (the band had been banned from traveling to Alabama that year because of the 1984 incident).

1998 - Probably the sickest I've ever felt after a football game.
2000 - The two guys running on the field and mooning the Bama sideline was hysterical. It was also funny watching the students trying to tear down the greased up goal posts.
2004 - The missed pass interference call. Still debated today.
2005 - The first away game I traveled to in almost ten years, and what a game it was. I thought we were screwed when we got down 10-0 but we fought back.

1988 -- in Tuscaloosa. My main memory is we kicked a field goal with time running out into the endzone where LSU fans were sitting. We all had our arms up signaling good before the kick was made.
