Power was the only men’s dorm with AC. I was lucky I roomed with a scholarship athlete and got to live there. And it was pretty shitty but had window units.

We got a cafeteria card so could eat at any of the cafeterias. Some foods were much better than others. By Thursday you were sick of the food and ate out or ordered pizza.

We had a concession stand run by a completely blind guy, and it had a microwave. So you could buy something and heat it up. I have no idea how he could confirm what bill you gave him but he could. You gave him a $10 bill, dude would rub it for 5 minutes before he would accept it, lol.

Lotta frat dudes lived there and they wreaked havoc in the halls. But anytime I felt miserable in the dorm, would go visit my buds in the stadium. It was like returning home to the Taj Mahal when I left.

There was a Mr Falcon that did the same thing downtown BTR Courthouse.

I know this, if you had speakers hanging out the dorm, this song was played every day.
