I can understand why a coach may not want the player to wear them. However, the bigger issue is not whether Jimbo was right or not, but that he has a player willing to accept being benched instead of doing what the coach told him to do. Then, he posts about it on social media.

Assuming this is accurate, when you have a key player essentially saying "FU, I'd rather not play than do what you tell me" that is a HUGE red flag.

There's no doubt more to the story but the guy has played with the same arm sleeves multiple times. Not saying he'd be right to not take them off but it would be dumb as hell to draw a line now and not the Miss St, Florida, and Bama games when he was wearing them.
