Daniels got the stinker out of the way. That’s one way to look at it.

Obviously a bad day for him Saturday. Honestly identical to the Auburn game.
I had a really strong feeling it was going to be a close game with the way the spread was then finding out about the flu helped me understand why it was close.
All that matters is we got the W. However we need Daniels to perform better in the next 2 to assure our “win for the playoff” game and build momentum heading into ATL.
All the confidence in the world for JD5 to be much better. He’s proven he will be.

I don't understand how anyone can look at the play calling and think Daniels is solely to blame.

Daniels played bad but Denbrock called a worse game and weirdly never adjusted which is something out of the ordinary compared to the rest of the season.

He's had multiple stinkers this season, this was not the first time.

Sure. However the reason this teams in the SEC championship is the way they RESPONDED after sub par play. My confidence is in this staff. I seriously think we have a chance against GA.

8-2 headed to 9-2 then 10-2 and maybe just maybe 11-2 so if he can suck and do that we keeping sucking

I wasn’t found of the play calling either. Almost every sack you look down field and the receivers were 15-20 yards down field most of the time. Didn’t do him any favors not calling plays with shorter routes

Hopefully it’s not a lingering stinker and he decides to Dutch oven us the remaining games.

Daniels IS the stinker

When Daniels started getting it together, for Alabama, I suspected he would have a regression game. That’s the way learning usually takes place. I think he got it out of the way, and hopefully he can consolidate what he’s learned and start moving forward again.

Has to be designed around the fact that he has trouble hitting slants and crossing routes over the middle.
The pass to Boutte was the only one of the game IIRC.

Because that's what they wait around to do we have certain fans who wait for games like this. It doesn't matter if its a win they have to get their post off about how bad the QB is but never say who on the roster is a better option to put in. #6 in the AP #1 in the SEC WEST and its on to UAB game
