I've seen a lot of upset Tiger fans following the LSU-UGA game, but I'm seeing that game differently. What I saw was at worst two equal teams with LSU just serving up two huge mistakes that just so happened to make that 14 pt difference. I know saying you were equal to a team that just got thrashed is maybe not so great - but you are doing this with a bunch of new starters in a rebuilding year - same thing Florida went through last year.

I think you guys are going to be just fine - your youngsters need to mature a little bit. LSU is deep with talent just thin on experience. It's maybe not in Florida's best interest but I'll pull for you guys pretty heavy this weekend. I really thought you could beat Georgia and I think you can beat 'Bama. That might hurt UF's shot at the Nat'l Championship, but I'll settle for an SEC Championship any year. Of course there's a lot of work left to get the SECC.

But back on topic - one thing I saw this weekend was a lot of passion by Florida. I saw this in last years LSU team. I'm not seeing it from LSU this year. Maybe playing too tentative. Anyway - with a #1 coming to town I'm betting the passion meter is up and hope you guys can pull off the upset. Good luck.

I was pulling hard for Florida to kick Georgia's arse...It almost felt like pulling for a team i liked....
Anyways Florida has a great team this year..Kick Bamas arse if you end up in the SECCG.
Tebow is a class act..you are lucky to have him..He motivates the team and seem happy when they are playing.
Other than UM i like Florida..
If you in Lafayette look me up and I'll buy you lunch...

UM is a "take no prisoners" type of guy. He doesn't care if the "enemy" doesn't like him. It's kind of like Spurrier once said - if your opponents like you then you are probably doing something wrong.

Arrogance seems to be a trait of good coaches - Saban, Spurrier, UM - and there's people who don't care for Les either. Goes with the territory.

I hate to see a post from a Gator that I agree with. I happen to be married to one. hehe. Great observations and I agree with what you are saying.

A lot said that this was a reloading year for LSU but that wasn't quite accurate. We have lots of positions that we replaced this year including coaches.

We match up very well agains Bama. Much better than we did against UG or Ga. We do have a shot at this one.

Reminds me of the 1997 LSU-UF game in a lot of ways.

Wag- I'm in Ocoee too!
Will be a long year listening to Gator crap.
Actually, a Gator fan would want Bama to win. The only way UF plays for the national championship is to meet an undefeated, No. 1 Bama team in Atlanta.
That being said, I hope we SPANK the gumps.

I could not agree with this post more....as long as an SEC team wins the national championship I'll be happy. Looks like the Gators will be that team.
