I always got hungover, and as time went on and I drank more they got worse. I don't know about these people saying they dont get hangovers anymore, I would just drink the next morning to avoid the hangover

No. You start drinking in the morning to alleviate the hangover. Then you keep drinking to do the same all day.
A hangover is simply alcohol withdrawal.

Have an alcohol drink, have a water, etc.
