re: Chef John Folse: Why is he such a hated figure in Southeast Louisiana?

Me and my buddies pranked him years ago booking a reservation pretending to be the son of of one of the state senators from North LA. He rolled out the red carpet. My buddy had the same last name as the senator so it was bulletproof. He kissed our arse so hard all night. Busted out a few nice bottles for us. Personally made the dessert (pretty sure he lied about this).
