How many top 5 WRs have become franchise WRs? Because that’s what the expectation now is of this guy.
Was it foresight to reach for him knowing MT’s role with this team is essentially done and he’d step into that role immediately without missing a beat?
Or just the same type of trade up in round one front office arrogance that brought us a Davenport and Turner?
All remains to be seen, but love it or hate it, it’s the reality of where we sit in regards to our 2023 first round draft selection.

Ehhh… Olave’s ceiling is Marvin Harrison. He has elite potential.
Hindsight being 20/20 it would sure be nice to have the 2023 pick, but this team is much worse than anyone really expected. If we’re even hovering around .500 it’s a good trade in hindsight.
We’re making too big a deal about this I think.
ETA: as of right now I believe that pick would be #7 overall, which wouldn’t be high enough to grab Stroud, Young or Levis, anyway.
