I’ve heard from this board that it’s more so on the staff, for strategic purposes. Likely a TRUE silent commit, just awaiting word from the staff to make it official

Not saying I don't believe you, but explain the strategy on this. What kind of advantage does it give us?

Maybe he’s a guy we send to recruit kids while with them on visits to other schools? Always thought Maason Smith was doing that in his cycle. Who knows. Feeling good about him though!

If he commits, other schools would likely tell him to get fricked and he wouldn’t be able to get in the ears of guys we’re recruiting on their OVs elsewhere.
