Mid-30s for me. But I also never let my body heal when playing the adult rec ball. As soon as the pain stopped, or I could stabilize with a brace; was back on the field, diamond, and/or sand.

I take Aleve as needed and can get a prescription Naproxen when absolutely necessary. Does get achy with the cold weather, but really lets me know if I'm sick or just dealing with allergies.

As another poster pointed out, get in the gym (if you don't already). Get the blood flowing, build up the complementary muscles will help stabilize joints and alleviate some of the pain (depending on the issue). If unsure, go see your Dr and get a P/T script to work with a therapist on exercises to do, and what you should listen for in your body.
