How does Twitter become "the most reliable source of truth" without steering and adjusting? No social media should ever be a source of truth. I don't consider this TD to be a source of truth. It's basically random grumblings and shock stories for me to look into.
I don't like what Twitter is trying to do. A social media platform, at best, is a barber shop or bar as far as news and information.

The new community notes feature is one way. Its been great and people can contribute to it. It has already caused the White House to take down a few posts they were lying in.
Community notes has been unbiased so far

quote:then you haven't thought about it critically enough. The odds of getting to the truth are exponentially greater when crowdsourced than single source. That's the case with virtually anything in the world. Even scientists have figured out that you can crowd Source Solutions faster than putting 10 brilliant dudes in a room. The problem you're having is that you are hoping to be able to sit with your thumbs up your arse while someone spoon feeds you specific truth from one all-knowing head. That's how you get where we are now

Which means you must like what Twitter WAS doing. = no other way to interpret your post.
Which means you only want propaganda that fits your political narrative.
which means you are one of the problem's sources.
begone.
