Sony receiver repair

Recos please? I live in the Zachary area. My receiver was playing the TV through the speakers, then a “pop”. Receiver won’t turn on now.

Also go to you tube and put in Sony model number and “how to repair.”

I bought it for like $700, but that was about 6 years ago.
I may need to replace it, but I'd like to have someone look at it first to be sure. Any idea who looks at this stuff?

Call the manufacturer, or look on their website for repair centers that are authorized to work on their equipment.

I have an Onkyo that I originally bought refurbished to use outside. It's lasted about 5 years. A while back, it started smoking when powered on.
I paid $449 for it. It's probably not worth the cost of shipping and the actual repair to fix it.
