There are a lot of teams that are undefeated or with one loss. Tenn and UGA have to play, OSU and Mich have to play, TCU probably has to lose, Oregon and USC each have one loss and have to play. I just don’t see a scenario in which a 2 loss LSU gets in, even if they win out and beat an undefeated UGA or Tenn.

So let's play this out. Let's say LSU wins the SEC by beating an undefeated TENN in a rematch. This is what we have:

12-1 Tenn
11-2 LSU
11-1 UGA
13-0 tOSU
11-1 UM
13-0 Clem
12-1 TCU
12-1 Oregon

UGA and Michigan are out for sure. So you have Tenn, Ohio St, LSU, Clemson, TCU, and Oregon left. LSU is probably in the Top 6 going into the SEC Championship, so I don't see how they get left out if Tennessee runs the table and goes into that game #1. So the question becomes whether or not Tennessee gets left out of the playoff, or whether you have a 2-loss Champion and a 1-loss non-champion in with Ohio State and Clemson.

That would be a shitty playoff, because we probably end up with the rubber match between LSU/UT unless they leave UT out entirely.

I just don't see a 2-loss LSU getting left out unless both Tenn and UGA lose before the SEC Title game, or you have 3 undefeated conference champions and a 1-loss champ sitting there. And I don't believe that has happened yet, either.
