What would Ole Miss do when Jimmy Sexton said “oh Lane isn’t doing a $20M buyout”….tell him to leave?
The fact that Ole Miss didn’t release that as well also tells that either there isn’t one or its very low, or else Ole Miss would be advertising that everywhere rather than having their delusional fan base throw out completely absurd numbers.
Its funny I asked multiple Ole Miss posters to just post showing where that is an accurate representation of his buyout yet it hasn’t happened yet

Yeah, I'd love to see a link that backs up those crazy numbers as I just believed it thinking that they must have been made public with it being a state employee contract, but I can't find it anywhere...other than here.
ETA: It doesn't look like we will ever find out. We are just supposed to take OM fans on TD.com at their word. You know, because having a coach pay a buyout that's almost what he would make for 3/4ths of the value of the entire contract seems legit...
I'm sure Jimmy Sexton told Lane to sign that immediately because there's no way he'd get a deal like that ever again.
