It will wind up being the most important down the stretch.

Bama isn't exactly the BAMA of past, not a great away team this year, and the talent isn't as UBER as normal as A&M and UGA have pulled and split a lot of great talent that usually would have all wound up at Bama.

A win by LSU this season, would be HUGE IRT recruiting this year, but WAY MORE IMPORTANT that just that.

It would be the middle schoolers and high schoolers coming up that have never met Saban, it would be the HS coaches that may not have met him yet.

I would be the fact that CBK could walk into a home and say I beat him year 1, just wait and see what happens next.

I think we lose this one but if/when Walker Howard starts (hopefully next year) I think we’ll phase out Bama. Saban’s running out of steam and BK is just getting started here. Needs a QB who can do more than just run and throw 5 yard passes.

The win won't influence recruiting as much as some think just like it didn't in 2019. That being said, Bama and Saban sure look to be heading slowly in a different direction.

Saban has 2 weeks to get ready. You think he knows JD can and will run? I don't know, but if I'm opposing coach with Bama's talent, I limit JD's running.

Hopefully BK and House come up with new angles of attack for Perkins. Bama is going to be as prepared as they can be for what is on film so far.

Should JD be flushed to left or right?
Maybe let him see green up the middle?
Use the sideline as your 12th defender?

I love how people act like Alabama is just done because they are still winning games and not blowing people out. There is 1A & 1B in college football right now, it's Alabama & UGA.

LSU still has plenty of work to do to get back to that echelon.

LSU wins. Beginning of the end for Saban/Bama's run. Beginning of LSU's ascension to be the next force to be reckoned with year in year out for a long time.

Leading your recruiting should never mention you beat that 1 team/coach.

It's coaches first year, and I think he is already exceeding expectations. We're in a groove right now. If we lose, it doesn't hurt a thing. If we win, sure all the better. As long as we play a complete game and play a good game, it looks good on coach.

From an outsiders perspective...I would disagree.

In a rebuilding year, there are some games that are must wins, and then there are others that are nice surprises. Bama is neither. It's a game where he's not expected to win, nor should he be.

I’m not a moral victory type dude at all…. But fact is alamava has the better team

Our goal should be to play best we can obviously
Don’t get behind early like we have due to busted Coverages and TOs

Play hard like Texas and tenn and Am did against them
See where chips lie after 4 qrts

If we play hard like we did last year vs them and come up short I’m ok with it based on where they are as a program ans wherwe we are

The gap is closing
Should be great night in DV

Perchance Brian Kelly's LSU Tigahs defeat Bama this year, the citizens of Louisiana will hand him the State of Louisiana. Okay, I'm exaggerating. But dang sure, a surge in male and female babies named 'Brian.' Brian, eh?
