I've never viewed Signs as a horror movie at all, but I guess it sort of could be. If so, that's a good one for this thread.
ETA: As for the BWP debate, I still would argue that there are deaths in that one. Even if not shown onscreen, it has to be assumed that the one dude dies when they find what is supposed to be his teeth/jaw or whatever. If BWP counts, then I guess that's a good choice. But the whole premise is that they "disappeared" and their footage was found. So them dying is all but drawn into the plot itself.
Poltergeist is definitely a good choice, and may win the thread so far.
