Afternoon All,
I owe a friend of mine an expensive dinner, and it's not my choice to pick the place, so right now it's Rizutto's, because of that "Spinalis Ribeye" they have.
Should I be pushing for a different place? I've never been, know very little about it, etc.

the spinalis and the crab cakes are bomb. idk much about the rest of the menu, but if that's where he wants to pick..

Thanx - I thought I saw a snarky comment or two on here recently, so I didn't know if the place has a bad reputation, etc...

We went recently and had Italian. I wasn’t impressed but I hear the steaks are good. Italian was mediocre at best. Oyster app was the best thing we had.

Spinalis is an awesome steak there. As other poster said, crab cakes are full of crab. The cocktails are shite, so drink wine.

I also went recently.
Was not impressed at all.
Food was not bad but it wasn't anything special at all.
Wait staff seemed annoyed most of the time as well, not friendly.
Maybe we went on a bad night.

I prefer Desi Vegas at heritage plaza if I am getting expensive steak in that area.

Spinalis is good, not much else. If I’m spending that kind of money I’d prefer Desi Vega nearby.
