Funny thing is, a well fitting pair of leather soled ropers feel pretty much the same to me as Allen Edmonds. But I'd never get any of those high-heeled fancy cowboy boots.

I have a number of Allen Edmonds and I wear them more often than boots. They're less comfortable than the boots on average other than being a little cooler.

I always wore the bottom out of one boot on a pair of leather bottomed ropers. Then one day while I was putting out a cigarette I figured it out.
