Wife needs a watch and I'm looking to upgrade from my formerly top of the line Garmin watch from 10 years ago.

We are both still running Samsung note 20 ultras, but would switch phones if theupgrade made sense.

I know the new pixel phone just came out. But from all I'm hearing the note 20 ultra is still a good phone.

I wonder if I should jump into the Samsung ecosystem and get their watch and ear buds. Or should I return to the Google ecosystem.

I used to run on project fi for years but then went to att when they were pushing their first net deal for first responders.

Anyways, I've been kinda happy with att, but I also loved project fi. So I could go back.

And then for me I have the top of the line Garmin triathlon watch from like a decade ago and kind think the optical heart rate monitor has lost its touch a bit. Plus it's ten years old and I'm guessing there are much better ones.

So tell me should I get the pixel or Samsung watch for the wife and should I just get one of them for me as well?

I had an injury and don't run as much anymore.

Pixel is first edition and Samsung has been around for awhile and is more established. Samsung is regarded as the best available for Android users.

Pixel is rather lacking on the fitness features. Later versions will offer more
