I was born and raised in Mississippi, but when I was 11, my Uncle took me to Baton Rouge to watch Pistol Pete play. I became an instant LSU fan who bleeds purple and gold.

I was always an LSU fan. When I came home from Vietnam, I attended my first live LSU game at Grant Field in Atlanta for the first Peach Bowl against FSU. It was cold and raining, but LSU pulled out a victory at the end.

Two days later I came down with the Hong Kong Flu and I have never been so sick in my life. I could not get out of the bed for three days, but I will always remember that game and so excited to finally see my Tigers in person.

After coming home from the war, I finally felt I was once again a normal person.

I was born and raised in Monroe La. That’s enough to be a diehard LSU Tiger! There is no other university! ??

Born and raised in Cajun Country. Baseball was the sport growing up in late 80’s and early 90’s. That was the first sport that drew me to the Tigers. However, Kevin Faulk made me fall in love with LSU football.

Born in Monroe, die-hard tiger fan? I've got more relatives in West Monroe than a Churches Fried Chicken has cockroaches. But half of them hate LSU with a passion because of Little Brother Syndrome (NLU - will never be ULM to me).

There's so much butthurt in Ouachita Parish about LSU that it's no wonder so many kids from there end up at Bama.

Kudos to you if you could survive that and still be a Tigers fan!
