Look at the offenses in the SEC right now. Tennessee under Heupel. Kiffin at Ole Miss. Leach at Mississippi State. Alabama of course. The very likely possibility of an offensive minded coach (Freeze) at Auburn in the near future.
Stopping these kinds of offenses requires an elite secondary. We need guys that are good enough to leave alone in man coverage and win those 1 on 1 battles.
Locking up Austin and Toviano this cycle would be a good start. Landing a guy like Ricks in 2024 would truly start to reestablish the "DBU" brand.

So no inside intel like Fong, doubt regarding a top recruit when this staff has proven to capture elite talent, just a bad feeling? Negativity surrounding some is astounding.
