Said he told Brian Kelly before the season that he will let the coaches do as they wish regarding playing Walker or not and hasn’t discussed Walker’s development with them since.

If true, does Walker play and burn the RS? He’s already the best QB on the team per Kelly.

Jamie also said Walker has the confidence in his abilities that he didn’t have, and that Walker would give everyone else that same confidence if he does play.

I think they save him for next year but he still has three more games to play without burning his redshirt.

What have you seen from JD or Nuss that gives you confidence? Seriously

Give it a rest with the Howard threads. If we were going to burn his redshirt it would have happened already. This year is a development year for walker whether it was discussed between coach and parent or not. Hes gonna learn and get strong in the weight room.

I'm sure Howard is great, but I think a lot of people are forgetting what a baller nessmeier is. He's pick happy right now, yes, but if he can get over that, the dude will be an absolute stud and plenty good enough to start at LSU.

Nuss would kill it on any team with an Oline and those receivers. I think Walker would too, but who has seen enough of Walker to judge that?
I know what the answer isn’t, but I’m not in the mood to trigger people tonight.

Moron. He has to play in 5 games to "burn it already".

I won't believe that until I see it. All I've seen from Nuss is an inconsistent, turnover machine. I hope he figures it out, but show me.

I was at the Tennessee game looking at Howard on the sidelines. He looked really small. He needs at least a year of strength and conditioning work before we can trot him out there.

I can understand the argument that the O line is deficient this year so you save Walker for the years when they have more development and strength, but if Walker is the guy everyone thinks he is, he’s gone after two years of playing regardless.

OP is either a relative of Howard or is in love with the guy. He also must have not seen Howard in the Spring game. He played horrible. He didn't even have to be worried about being tackled and he still played horrible.

He is not ready this year. Next year maybe.

I’m not knocking you. I’m just enjoying watching everyone piss their pants over the 50 Walker Howard threads you started today.

Based on what we have seen with Daniels struggling mightily with the concept of the forward pass, I don't see why we didn't go with Howard game 1.
