Sovereign debt and liquidity

I missed the days of Benny and other MT OGs that used to post. Learned a ton about the markets & economy post-GFC from those threads.

I don’t fully understand the implications of what the UK and Gilts just went through. Isolated incident or a canary in the coal mine? Janet Yellen warning of Treasury liquidity, Japan, etc.

I would love to learn more about the liquidity issues & leverage problems associated with the much higher yields.

There also used to be a long thread about problems in reverse repos (which never did come to systemic risk fruition). Great thread regardless.

Amateur prognostication & technicals seem to have taken over this board. I miss the fundamental guys that could explain some of WTF is going on and where risks may be.
