Ok, now I can go compare him to Lincoln Riley, which is much more comparable than Nick Saban in 2004. USC was 5-8 last year. They haven’t won more than 8 games since 2017. USC would beat us by 21 this year.

Having a Heisman trophy caliber player and the returning biletnikoff award winning reciever that transfered into your program usually covers alot of deficiencies. Not to mention that the pac 12 is absolute dog shite besides 3 teams. Do you not remember how bad those Oklahoma defenses were with Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray? Yet those teams were able to shred through the big 12 and be competitive (defense still let them down in the end against elite teams) in the playoffs.

When you have a Caleb Williams, Bryce young, or hendon hooker you are going to win lots of games in spite of glaring weaknesses in other parts of your team. It's not a surprise that Lincoln Riley is doing good at USC, he is a very good head coach, an elite offensive coach and he has an elite quarterback and reciever.

How much better would LSU be if Caleb Williams was our QB? Has USC played anyone even close to Tenn? It's not a good comparison.
