Stafford did not throw one pick 6 his freshman season.

but,

he did throw 4 or 5 interceptions in the redzone, so that is almost just as bad, but UGA actually had a defense so he would get a second chance with great feild position

Even Stafford says he went through troubles and admits to it.....

while everyone else here claims Lee has had plenty of time to learn the system and be better than he is......hilarious.

Indeed. We're talking four freaking games, three of 'em on the road. The kid at least needs to get this tumultuous year under his belt before we can reach definitive conclusions about his ability to lead the Tigers to the promised land. Hell, using the criteria some posters have employed, Stafford would be riding the pine at Georgia and McCoy would be doing the same thing at Texas.

Yep, we suffered dearly through Matt's growing pains. With a talented Freshman QB you have to take the good with the bad until they develop.

I guess after this year lee can either turn into Sam Bradford or Drew Weatherford.

UGA's offense can tackle when they have to.
