I hope the questions are statisitic laden and direct and to the point about the defense.

I hope none of this BS like: "Coach, with such a big game as Georgia how did it feel to run out of the tunnel into Tiger Stadium last saturday"

How about "How many Pic-6's before your QB sees some pine?"

Or

"Which D-coordinator is afraid to blitz now?"

Or

"Before he got hurt, was A Hatch's arm really that bad?"

I've only made 2 of these threads.

Just trying to get Mr.x (Paul) a few questions to ask instead of the fluffy questions he always asks.

He'll get a good, tough call from LSU=AWESOME. Nothing mean, but definitely the tough questions we all want to know!

Tell him that the Defense played exceptionally well and were wondering if the Co DC is working as well as he thought it would.

Ask him if, in his opinion, Gerry DiNardo's (a friend and former colleague of Coach's) downfall was his reluctance to replace Tepper and/or McConnell with competent and able coordinator(s).

Or you could just ask if it would be ideal to have, at a minimum, coordinator(s) who are sufficient, competent, mediocre and able since right now our DCs are insufficient, incompetent, unable, poor, weak, abhorrent and embarassing.

Or you could ask if allowing 50+ points twice in one season is satisfactory performance of a Defensive Coordinator(s) in his eyes.

Or you could ask whether the lack of on-field leadership on defense stems from a lack of leadership from the defensive staff and/or coordinators.

I'll definitely ask something about the possiility of changes at DC at the end of the year and probably get a more accurate response if I lead the question something about how he feels about Tubberville making changes midseason...

I'm also interested to know his thoughts on the SEC inter-divisional scheduling ... and why the SEC doesn't do it like the Big12 to make it more fair for everyone.

Could always ask him if he knows Dick Bumpas from TCU??

Check out his defensive stats since 04.

I would ask. "Coach, from looking at the rivals star rankings of all the recruits on defense; LSU has the 3rd highest star rating of all teams, but why is it they are underachieving this year?"

Simply ask...

"Coach, since we have the worst defense in the history of the program, does this mean we have the worst defensive coaching in the history of the program, the worst recruiting of defensive players in the history of the program, or both?"

Hey coach, I was wondering if you and your family all get free chicken, now that you're a spokesman for Raising Cane's. I'll hang up and listen to you answer. Thanks!

Thanks, will definitely throw that in there at the end ... I'm thinking I'll phrase my question something like this ...

"Coach, kind of a two-part related question regarding the defense ... we're all a little concerned with what's going on on the defensive side of the ball. I know that it would be counter-productive to make any moves mid-season and understand that you've got to support your guys, but if things don't get better what are your thoughts on making a change at DC at season's end and have you ever had any experience firing or demoting assistant coaches ... with that in mind, what were your thoughts on Tubberville makin' a change midseason and its affect on them ... and also, have you ever worked with TCU's Bumpas"

Doubt I'll get all that in, but I'll certainly try. I may lead by some generic statement about having faith in him and his decisions so that he doesn't think i'm just some dumbass calling in to bitch and complain about the defense, because I really do trust that Miles will make the right call in the end because he wants to win just as much as any of us.

"Coach, would you take out a hit on Nick Saban if you knew you wouldnt get caught?"

"Coach, at any point last week, did you ever get the urge to punch a UGA player or coach? If so, which one?"

That doesn't mean he's going to answer them the way you want him to. You guys go on and on about what Les "should" do and "should" say, but each time he shows you he's not going to do it. But you keep wringing your hands and worrying everyone to death about it.
