This is rich: if a polity decided through democratic means to choose to leave a country and go somewhere else based on the desires of their voters, you would deny that to them because of what? Accidents of history drawn on a map due to the results of long concluded wars or political transactions conducted by the long since departed?

There was nothing close to justifying invasion...by Russia of all people. You have to put the talking point in context with the propaganda it's promoting. You can't just take out the most important part (like my comment the other day about the costs of Russia's "peace" in Ukraine)

Nobody is denying that Ukraine had 0 labs with biological research/production going on. There were talking points about how these were secret labs and Covid may have come from one...or my favorite, that one was developing an agent to specifically target Russian DNA
