2022 was a fricking disaster on all fronts. And we are paying for policy decisions made by Biden immediately after he took office.
Oil prices are only one of many problems. Any democrat running for office has to distance themselves from Biden and his policies. Many are even speculating that he won't run again in 2024.

Biden shouldn’t run in 2024.
The fact that they haven’t completely ruled it out yet is a mix of “can’t do it before midterms” and “frick, we don’t have anyone else!”
