There is your problem... crime story. this a crazy man that killed people. It doesn't need a story. doesn't need any media. select the jurors, find him guilty, and electrocute the guilty. The more "stories" that are told in the "media" the more difficult the jury selection process is. Crazy bastard kills people. That gets very few clicks even with “black and white” mentioned. Even if the colors were reversed. Crazy doesn’t sell.
The sovereign citizen thing is different. Usually a redneck and or hippy thing. I don’t recall them being particularly violent, except for law enforcement encounters or trying to film a court session. Not slaughtering randoms.
