It started after Frances, charley and Jeanne in 2004 then Wilma unexpectedly wrecking shite in 2005. Buried lines, bolstered poles and shite like that. Also every gas station now has back up generators so they stay up and running.

Yeah LA shite the bed here in LC after Laura. Storm wiped out most of the entire grid. Did they go underground afterwards....nope. Wooden poles back up with over 3 weeks to return power
