Salt Bayou Bar had a chicken drop every week. It drew a pretty good crowd.

I think Katrina took the Chicken Drop out. It was about 2 miles from my house (at that time—we sold in April of 2005)as a crow flies. And my former house went completely under water and is now part of a WMA.

That place with the chicken drop in Slidell was called Salt Bayou Lounge, and Katrina took it out.
