I was pointing out the conflict of the argument
You made that up. It's a conflict to no one but you. You changed your argument to that once you were told how terrible it your first argument was.

It does not make logical sense to me. People are stating that it is a great value for the team, cause Nance will end up being underpaid. So, it is worth the gamble. If you like a player and want him rewarded, that shouldn't be a positive
I'm not sure someone could know less about sports than this comment. Just not sure it's even possible.

Inherently I do not like long term contracts. They are cumbersome and limit rooster flexibility.
So you like short term contracts where you have to pay a premium and also can lose a solid player earlier than if you had signed him long term?

Spots 10-15 should be filled with young high-end players on very low contracts. Or at worse, vets on minimum deals.
That has nothing to do with Nance, he's not 10-15

We are locking in this same roster for multiple years in a row. I do not believe it is a wise plan.
So you prefer to let CJ and Nance go and you think we can replace both of them with just the MLE?

Absolutely. I don't see how we lose guys that aren't FAs and I don't believe that they would take less to go elsewhere just cause we didn't take care of them earlier.

This year. Can you say that about next season?

We should have 5 locks above him (Zion, Ingram, McCollum, Val and Jones). Another 3 should get more minutes than him (Murphy, Daniels and our lottery pick from the Lakers). I am hopeful either Alvarado or Lewis takes a big leap forward this year, that would would be 9 players. We have Graham plus other assets to exchange for an impact guy. Plus Liddell should be fully recovered.

Who is Nance bumping for the next 2 years to stay in the top 10?

That wasn't an option. They weren't going anywhere. We shouldn't have to sign players early for good will sake. That is a dangerous precedent.

Is Val next? He has another year left on his deal. Is that how this works? We never let deals become expirings anymore?
