Be honest. Most years, any team outside of the top four will get boatraced in the playoff. Hell, most years the top two are the top two.

I’m not positive , but it seems the top three teams are usually competitive and the fourth team just there to fill out the brackets.
How many times had the fourth seed advanced? The third seed?
Without looking I’m guessing three has advanced regularly.
So I looked. In 8 playoffs four seed advanced twice. Three seed advanced four times.
