I keep going back and forth in my head. I freaking love the playoffs and how exciting playoff games are in any sport. But in any sport with big playoffs it means the best team can get knocked out by a hot team. I always thought it was funny how we allow our sports to be a "marathon" regular season and then it's like we take the top 10 marathon times and tell them to run a 100 yard sprint, and the winner of that is the champion.

In CBB the vols were definitely the best team in the country during the regular season....didn't even make the CWS. I am fine with that bc in every sport except D1 CFB, until recently, playoffs determine the champ
