That doesn't seem to be what they're arguing. They are arguing this process is improper entirely.

After witnessing how DOJ has handled DT over the last 5+ years, why would anybody be surprised his lawyers don’t want to verify this list? What’s in it for DT’s side? The question that should be asked is why are the feds asking for this?
When has the gov’t not lied, cheated and stolen in its irrational pursuit of DT?
