Increase "school funding" rhetoric

This seems to be the go-to platform for democrats to run on in their races but the notion is always vague. Who can argue against giving more money to schools in order to help out the kids but in reality how much of this "increased funding" actually makes it to the classroom?

I will always vote NO on these when they appear on a ballot.
Show me you can use the money you're already getting more wisely and then we can talk. Until then.........

Throwing money at education has never worked. Parents who don't inspire their children to excel in school and worthless teacher unions are problems that seldom get mentioned.

Louisiana spends like 22,000 per student on education.
My kids private school is about 7,000 per year.
Guess which one has more books, smaller classes, more activities, and better test scores?

There is a much higher correlation between a school’s proximity to the Canadian border and student performance than there is funding and student performance.
The obvious solution is to move more schools closer to the Canadian border.

Anyone with a brain. Schools are overfunded. You’d help kids immensely if the schools didn’t have so much money that admin can afford to sit around all day thinking about ways to not teach our kids.
Education is no different from DOJ, the pentagon, etc. too much money means time/resources to be doing shite that shouldn’t be done.

I think hiring more male teachers would help as well.
And by male, I mean MEN.
Lack of discipline in our schools is problem numero uno....

Some of the worst schools have the highest funding levels. You can't buy your way out of this problem.
Most public school districts give similar funding to all the schools in their district, with vastly different results.
