Russia, 100:1 It makes no sense for them to destroy their own pipeline. They have already stopped the flow.

Take the house, Russia benefited from the pipeline in good condition because it could use gas as leverage in a negotiation. It was also a lifeline to control German involvement, think "cheap gas would really keep your people happy so you should deal with us." Now that's no longer an option, Germany may as well sanction Russia because there are now no I'll consequences.

Poland, 200:1. They probably could not have pulled it off on their own. Anyone know the depth that the lines were laid. That is not blowing something up in a harbor

Take the house, though these may be good odds if the Poles have pipelines running through that they can control. I don't know

Germany, 500:1 they have the most to lose.

Maybe good odds, if you're a conspiracy theorist you may believe this makes it easier for German politicians to sanction Russia without political consequence because "the gas can't get here anymore anyways."

quote:

European Alliance, 5:1 Perhaps they sensed that Germany was about to falter. This would be a way to take that option off the table.

Safe bet

quote:

US 3:1, We definitely have the technology to pull this off. Perhaps by destroying the pipeline we can “starve” off Russia a little more without much impact to us. Our fine President even threatened to do it…….. on video

Safest bet, lol.

the area in the damaged pipeline is about 240 feet deep. Recreational divers can go about 110 foot deep with one tank and no decompression. Two tanks, air additives , and staged decompression allow sufficient time for attaching a demolition charge for recreational divers

this is not a hi tech event.
