Quite a few did. I can't tell you the number of people I talked with at that time who tried to carry that vague water for the administration. I would try to pin them down to exacting data, but none could ever come up with anything (because nothing more exacting than the shorthand "2 consecutive quarters of declining GDP" exists).
Advanced 3rd quarter GDP numbers come out 10/27 @ 8:30am Eastern. I'm expecting another drop (primarily due to energy and food prices continuing to spike). If so, the market continues taking a massive shite.
As I've been saying... this is only the beginning of the middle.
