I feel like Im is going to have to be the Internationals' Jon Rahm if they want to be anywhere close going into Sunday.

I think the Fat Lady will be warmed up before Sunday's singles matches.

I think the International team will come out loose.
US team may feel added pressure with everything that's gone on this year.

They might come out loose. On paper they are a prohibitive underdog.

Is there ever a huge anticipation of the Presidents Cup?

It's a break from the normal stroke play events. As far as being competitive, that's another story. The Ryder Cup matches are FAR more competitive.

I'm going over there on Friday for a bit and Saturday for the day...
Course looks amazing. They re-routed it so the final 4 holes of a normal tournament are a little earlier in the round...
I think I heard 450,000 square ft of hospitality viewing... Crazy. It'll be odd with so few golfers on the course... But nice weather and fun I hope.

Enjoy your experience. I read that they are going to allow 50,000 spectators each day. That's a hell of a lot of people for such a small number of matches.

My home is less than a mile from Quail and I drive by the entrance to the club regularly . I don’t have tickets, but if I can snag some free ones I’ll go. Looks to be a blowout but pretty cool to have it here.
I haven’t been on the course for this one, but dear lawd, they’ve been erecting shite for months. The main road by there is closed now and traffic is a fricking nightmare this week and it really hasn’t even started yet. Granted I just moved to this part of town a year ago, so I wasn’t living down here for the PGA or any of the Wells Fargo’s. I’ve been to one of the Wells tournaments which was pretty cool.
If we ever get a Ryder I’ll go,

LIV destroyed this Cup. This could’ve been super competitive. Smith, Niemann, Ancer, maybe Leishman would’ve been formidable.

Huh? What the hell is wrong with you? 70 year old man worried about an internet poster. Quite bizzare

He assumes you’re one of his downvotes
The boomers are super sensitive about those sorts of things.

Ah, got it. Thanks. Just downvoted to make sure to satisfy his self fulfilling prophecy

It’s weird enough for kids to be obsessed with upvotes/downvotes on the internet, but for a middle aged man it’s pathetic
