Miles came in after Saban to a team any coach could have won with.

Saban walked into a situation that would have given any coach a perpetual erection, namely the Tiger Athletic Foundation.

I hate to say it, but LSU through TAF is school that made it more profitable to be a mediocre college football coach than to find a cure for cancer. Little Nicky may well have filled the seats in Tiger Stadium, but TAF put them there and it is what payed for the academic center and all the other athletic upgrades. Anyone who does not realize that is an idiot.

FEAR THE HAT!

Yeah, a school that had the national label of "Coach Killer". LSU paid $1.6 million to lure Saban here. We were criticized at the time for the dollar amount. Joe Dean had dug such a mediocre mentality around here, people like you still embrace it.

Yeah, Hallman, Dinardo, Pat Sullivan. Heck even Cooper, the ex HC of Ohio State said no thanks. Then Ohio State fired him.

Yeah they were lined up alright.
