Per the Athletic:

quote:

The Tigers played two true freshmen at offensive tackle against one of the better fronts in the SEC. And nobody really noticed.

quote:

Per Pro Football Focus, neither tackle allowed a single pressure. It graded Campbell and Jones No. 1 and No. 4 of all SEC offensive tackles.

I can’t help but look ahead at what the line will be in a year, but especially two years. Campbell and Jones Juniors, Heard will be a Sophomore. Hopefully we close the deal on Chester. The OL will be absolutely filthy, and with Walker Howard under center. There’s no ceiling.

Have seen Emory Jones maul best players on opposing teams in HS. Looks like he is picking right up at SEC level foes.

Dude is special.

Sensing same with Campbell.

If you rewatch the pressure where it looks like Emory gives up the sack its Miles that misses his assignment and Emory comes late to try and stop it.

Will Campbell is just rock solid already.

I hate to be that guy but man next year looks so good.

Would definitely be a nice change. We've had some good ones during our cycle since Saban but the Oal always seems to be missing that dominance. Get C worked out long term and we are looking at a potentially special OL group the next couple of years.

FSU is lucky they caught us when they did. It’s about time that we are able to field 2 respectable OT’s. Not having Baskerville and Perkins on the field more on D was a big factor in that game as well.

Campbell and Jones looked great on Saturday. BK might've found his best lineup. Campbell is improving every week. With Dellinger (best run blocker on the team) on that left side, I can really see 'power run left' being a staple of the offense the rest of the way. We'll see.

Jones is obviously a freak athlete. That tackle he made on the punt return was insane. This team needed young guys to emerge and I'm glad he seems to have taken the opportunity to be our RT. Excited for his future.
