RB room is missing a piece (or two)

Previous post (from the Scoreboard)
We have a talented group of RBs but no homerun hitters.
Kevin Faulk, Leonard Fournette, Guice, Edwards-Helaire. These guys were home run hitters. Capable of 50+ yarder at any minute. Dangerous as inside & outside runners. Each of them could create opportunities with a change of direction, shedding tackles, and could catch out of the backfield. They could win most one-on-one battles, and were Xtremely difficult to bring down. Our longest run from scrimmage this season (including an FCS opponent) is 47 yds.
Though we are struggling at the O-Line, nothing about our RBs (in their resumes) show that these guys are "homeowners hitters". Neee to recruit a Fournette/Faulk/Guice. The potential of a big play from the RB is the hallmark of LSU football.
CEH even proved his ability to create big plays in his 1400 yds 2019 season.

Not really talented at all imo.
Where does the LSU RB room rank in the conference?
Who on this team could start elsewhere?

Looked like a home run that sealed the game.

Clyde lacked top end speed for big breakaway runs. He excelled at making guys miss, having great balance, and deceptive power.

I think Goodwin is the guy.
And we’ll see him separate himself as the year goes on.

Who are the guys we have missed on in recruiting recently that could be that guy?

Goodwin had a 47 yard run for a TD last night against MSU

Goodwin is a home run hitter

Well LSU has two committed who will fit in very well.

Wish we could’ve pulled Zach Evans when we had the chance. He’s balling out for Ole Miss.

Yeah i didn't understand why lsu didn't go all out for zach evans.
He is a true 5 star talent.

That was Emery’s first game in a very long time. He looked like he could be that guy but it may take some time for him to find his rhythm.

I agree. That ability created "big play ability".

I'm hoping that's true.

I’m not sure about that, but we rotate them too often.

I agree. He was a step away from busting a couple big runs yesterday. He’ll get better as the season moves along. Hopefully he stays healthy.
