Absolutely 0 context here, but I’m not surprised. Bech was our number 3 WR as a true freshman and our most reliable possession guy though the season, passing up guys with more talent. We regularly went to him when we needed a 3rd down pickup for a reason. He made a mediocre QB look better than he was by catching balls that were often off target.
As for yardage numbers, that’s just shite you are cherry picking out of thin air. We were in the 50s in yards per pass last season and the bottom half of the SEC in overall pass yardage. None of our WRs had great yardage numbers last year outside of Boutte before he got hurt. You either know that and have an agenda or you just don’t know shite.

I like Taylor at TE, but Bech would have made some of those pass plays that we did not execute with Taylor. Taylor as an overall TE is solid though.

Are Jenkins and Nabers mediocre too? They were either side of him on the list (removing Boutte since he only played 6 games) and all were within 100 yards of each other’s totals.
Being a reliable possession receiver who can catch some passes that aren’t great from a QB who struggles with accuracy, which Taylor is ready to do as a true freshman, is not an insignificant skill. You can minimize it all you want, but a guy like Bech extends drives and we need that in this offense right now. He proved he could do this quite well last season.

Good Lord. No one is talking about replacing any of the WRs. Denbrock loves TEs and is going to play at least one most of time. Even if it’s predicable for passing downs, Bech should replace Taylor for those plays. Are you really going to dispute that? If so, you are a fricking idiot.

If he’s not on the field ahead of Mason Taylor and especially Kole fricking Taylor for critical passing downs, then you are absolutely incorrect. If you think that either of our TEs is a better receiving option than Bech on 3rd or 4th down plays, then you are devoid of any football acumen whatsoever.
