no chance to LSU. Well, let's just say I like the emotional edge LSU has for now...they are an underdog, at home, first SEC game, Kelly's first SEC game, early start, electric crowd, good weather.
MSU no doubt will put up points...but, I've been watching LSU football for over 50 years, and sometimes the "whole is greater than the sum of the parts" when everything comes together.
In this case, I think the game could be a perfect storm where the Tigers now in game 3 showcase their talent in a system run by adults in front of an electric crowd.
It will be close game, but I like our chances.
So, that's my take

If we get 4 man pressure we win
If we get that and turn overs we win 10+

If LSU O and run the ball and burn clock, then LSU D is going to get gassed. They are thin at depth. This is a rebuild year.

That's weird, I watched it and didn't come away with that at all. I thought they were pretty fair and realistic on the state of the game and both programs. Some of you get your feelings hurt really easily if someone doesn't say LSU is going to straight up dominate. Here's a newsflash, they probably won't. I hope they do, but they most likely will not.

If we have longer TOP our D doesn't get gassed...

You’re ignoring fitness and nutrition. We’re probably less likely to get gassed than Moo St. Our bench is probably deeper than them too, talent-wise.

Generally how it works with leach since leaving tech

Starts season off getting praise as an innovative offensive mind despite the fact that he hasn’t been innovative in over a decade. He goes through the season doing what he needs to do to just hold on to his job. Hovering in mediocrity. Says a couple of “that’s mike leach” things in his press conferences… finishes with 7 wins

Rinse and repeat to start next season

Yeah, goes to show you how far LSU has fallen and how the rest of the SEC is no longer pushovers.

Why does this fanbase gets its feelings hurt so easily by what some idiots on ESPN say? I don’t understand that mentality.

Gameday is at Appy State. No idea why you’d be watching that instead of SEC Nation. That said, I’d bet just about anything that I could watch that EXACT same segment you did, and come away with a much different interpretation than what you suggest. So much inferiority complex, chronic victimhood in so many Louisiana residents. So sad.

Desmond Howard actually said he was impressed by LSU's fight against FSU and staring adversity down. Said he liked the way we played end of FSU and second game. He said it will be a fight with ultimately Miss State winning. It's not like they dogged LSU they just said Miss State will slightly edge us because he felt they were underrated which they probably are.

They didn't say that at all. They were actually pretty fair with LSU. Moo State has a really good team, we are rebuilding. They were being realistic.

Yes and none of them said we're getting killed it could go either way. They edge us out because they're underrated and want to make a statement.
