I'm not dumb enough to let a dealership tag my vehicle. I go to the dmv.
I worked for an auto group of 20 dealerships for 10 years. My girlfriend is a lifelong title clerk at dealerships currently with Winrock automotive. My brother sells Kia's and is in the top 50 new Kia salesmen nationally every year.
I know how incompetent dealerships are.

That’s kinda what I was thinking. They either forgot it was a Florida tag and thought she has already been hit for the value of the original trade in or they thought it would be so small of a difference it wouldn’t matter.
Or the most likely option all they were worried about was making the sale and figured they could milk it out of her later.
