I think Langston will be good, but we've gotta stop giving any credence to anything said prior to January of 2022.
Orgeron spewed so much bullshite out of his mouth those last 2 years, it's gotten to the point where it's hurting players who don't perform the way he predicted.
Normally I would agree, but it's not like Ed was talking big about everyone, and he knows DL as well as anyone. There's a reason he talked up Langston so much, as it wasn't just once or twice either, he saw the potential there.
I think part of it for Langston is just getting to playing size for the interior. Remember he was like 250-260 in high school, got up to about 280 last year and and is now more comfortable 290-300 range.
Dont get me wrong, I dont expect Langston to suddenly be playing 30-40 snaps a game or something. But he should be able to provide 1-2 drives a game of relief for the other guys on the interior, so think like maybe 5-10 ish snaps a game or so. All they need is a breather with Guillory also able to rotate. Where things get more "we need a lot more of you" is if 1 of the other 3 guys get nicked in a game and at that point he's going to have to play way more significantly.
