re: Cringey thing you did as a dumb teenager

Yesterday, at my great grandmother’s funeral, my cousin decided instead of a eulogy she’d make a speech to repeatedly tell everyone how many bad decisions she’s made and how she finally decided to put her GED to use by going back to school. She’s going on and on about how at 40 she finally decided as a single mom of 4 to make something of herself.

So, I’m thinking, wow, she’s in nursing school or something with decent pay and potential. Nope, massage therapy school at a strip mall. I wanted to die of embarrassment. She killed the mood and ended anyone else wanting to do a eulogy.
