Back in the mid-80's not everyone went to college, so I am very happy I went to college. When you got out of college, a college degree really meant something, not so much now.
I would absolutely would go back to Alabama! Sending 2 kids there now.
I love my job, so would major in the same.
I think college taught me so much more than I learned in the classrooms. I was the youngest of 5 and lived a sheltered life, so I really grew up in my years at Bama. I push my own 2 kids to learn to do things on their own too.

This is my view but from the 60s when it was rare for a poor kid to go to college. Moms really bragged about it back then. Today it means 'My child exists therefore he is going to college.'
