My wife and I are cruising the mediterranean at end of Sept. I have an opportunity to go to Capri for 6 hours. We can book a tour or get there ourselves on air foyle boat. We would like to do the “blue grotto” and anything else you can recommend.

We went to Capri from Positano on the air foyle boat. It was a fast and pleasant ride. We went on a bright and sunny day, but the waves were so rough the Blue Grotto was closed. We had lunch in a nice restaurant and just spent the day hanging around town. If you want to see the Blue Grotto, a guided tour to it may be the way to go.

Just did this. We were in Positano and just booked a private boat to Capri. Took us to alot of other grottos and swim spots around Capri. Took us to lunch in Nerano too. Was an awesome way to see everything and avoid the crowds.

I’d do Pompeii instead. Capri is nothing special neither is the z blue Grotto. JMHO

Agree. Private boat is the way to go.
